I recently had a delightful stay at Villa Gherardi in Barga. My room was spacious, clean, and had a breathtaking view. The owner, Adele, was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. The breakfast was delicious and abundant, and I enjoyed engaging in pleasant English conversations with Adele. The villa also had a public library that showcased the unique history of the town. Villa Gherardi provided a tranquil and serene rest in a perfect location.

I recently had an amazing stay at Villa Gherardi. The beautiful building is perfectly located, close to both the old and new town of Barga. The view from the breakfast terrace of the alps is absolutely breathtaking. Adele, the owner, was incredibly helpful and even arranged a travel cot for us. The rooms were always clean and had gorgeous views of the town and Duomo. The breakfast each morning was consistently great. I highly recommend this hotel for its incredible location, wonderful host, and delicious breakfast. I will definitely be back!

Lovely location but disappointing stay

The location of this hotel was definitely a highlight. It was situated in a beautiful area with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Being close to both the old town and the new town was convenient for exploring. the manager was friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcomed throughout our stay.

There were several aspects of our experience that left much to be desired. the room we stayed in was small and gloomy, creating a rather depressing atmosphere.

We had a great value for our money at Villa Gherardi - B&B E. The room was spacious and had beautiful views of the mountains. The location was perfect, right next to the historic center, and the staff, especially Adele.

Lovely stay during Christmas. Friendly and helpful staff provided great advice for trips and made delicious breakfast. the balcony had a stunning view of the mountains. the room had a fabulous view of the old town and the thick walls kept it cool. Perfect location for walking to cafes, restaurants, and shops. Great base for exploring the area.

The lack of air conditioning or a fan made the hot nights uncomfortable, though this may not be a usual problem. Shower experience was not mentioned.
